Upon arriving at the dealership a sales rep remembered us from Biketoberfest and greeted myself and my husband right away. We purchased a 2023 street bob that day. Since the process of purchasing was made so quick and easy and they hade a huge selection of available motorcycles we ended up purchasing a 2023 street glide that same day as well. I have been riding motorcycles for over 55 years and during that time have have worked with many dealerships. Rossmeyer Harley Davidson is without a doubt the best. Four or five years ago during Daytona Bike Week I needed a part, otherwise it was time to rent a trailer and go home. I went to Rossmeyer expecting to wait in line forever just to find out if they had the part. As soon as I walked in the parts area I was asked if I needed help. Not only did they have the part I was in and out of the service department in two hours. That did it.... I was hooked..... every time I am near Daytona I stop..... so on a recent drive from Cleveland to Islamorada my wife suggested I stop in Daytona and rest. That is all I needed to hear...... I was checked into a motel and standing inside Rossmeyers in less than a half hour after my wife suggested stopping. And then I Met George. At 73 years old and already owning several Harleys the last thing I needed was another bike..... but within an hour I was the proud owner of another Harley. George is great... told him what I needed and he found it...... no over selling, no running me around the showroom... I had very specific needs and he found the bike that fit the need. They wanted to service the bike so we decided that I would pick it up at 9 am the following morning. That was Georges day off so he arranged for another person to help load it into the back of my pick up truck. At 9 am I was there and so was George. I was surprised to see him and he told me he came in to make sure everything went ok..... which it did...... and that means a lot when someone comes in on their day off to make sure everything goes smoothly. Their parts, service and sales departments are totally professional. You can expect and will receive fast and knowledgeable treatment. I usually never fill out customer service questionnaires but I actually asked George for how I could publicly express my appreciation for past and present treatment And he suggested this web site. It was a great pleasure to meet Stan Collins and received one hell of an education on the bike, the history of the bike and everything under the sun about the bike, which naturally led to its purchase and ownership. As a female rider in a predominantly male sport I have a lot of experience being disrespected, demeaned, ignored and insulted in mc shops. Not Destination Daytona. Each time I go in for service, my concerns are taken seriously, addressed and worked on. I'm treated very respectfully in all departments. I have ridden around half this country and Canada and more times than not I have ridden solo. To be perfectly honest, I've been treated so poorly in many HD shops and I was ready to trade both my Harleys for another brand. I was giving Destination Daytona my last HD chance and with my first visit my opinion was completely changed and hasn't wavered for the 18 months I've been bringing my bikes there for service.Thank you Service, Parts, Motorclothes, Sales and anyone else that has helped me out. Jason Taylor our sale rep was outstanding. He reached out to us after we had informed the dealership that we were interested in purchasing a bike. I told him we would be in on Sunday and he made us an appointment and told me if I need to change anything or had any question just call him or shoot him a text. We were running late and I text him and he so no problem and thanked me for the update. Once we were at the dealership he was most professional and answered any and all questions we had. After we had made the decision to purchase a bike he kept us informed as to what the length of time it would take and to look around and if we had any questions just reach out to him. The finance department was great answered and informed us everything it was that we were doing. Really like that the dealership has a Geico rep there so we could add the bike to our policy. After everything was finished the General Manager came and seen us and talked and thanked us for purchasing a bike from you. The dealership is clean and everyone is very polite and helpful. Called New Smyrna location after being probably accidentally hung up on at Daytona location after being put on hold, things happen for a reason they say. Very Happy with the new purchase back in January on my 2014 Electra Glide Ultra Limited. Sale's personal was very helpful and wasn't pushy to make the sale. Top notch with Charlie on down to the people in service. I would buy another bike from this dealership on a heart beat. I made the purchase in January and was coming down in March at the end of Bike Week for a week in my Time Share and they aloud me to store it until I came down to do my Time Share. They are very good friend's instead of sale's people. I can't say enough about Charlie in sale's. He kept in touch from the time I made the purchase to the day I picked it up. I drive truck so I have chance's to get threw town and Charlie always said if I'm passing threw and want to get my bike out for a few hours to give him a call and it will be waiting for me when I arrive. Charlie was very helpful with educating me on the new electronics. He really had his hands full and was very patient cause I'm still learning new things on it and I'm not too good with the computer side. He gave me web sites to view and it broke down every thing with the new bike. He is very TOP NOTCH !!! Now for the purchase : I'm coming off from a 1998 Dyna Wide Glide to a 2014 Ultra Limited..... One word.... WOW !!!!!. I Love the bike. I still have my Dyna for short digs around town but I haven't rode it yet since the new bike came home. If I was going to complain about any thing I would have to say when I came in for my 500 to 1000 mile service, when they changed oil and put the new oil filter on they put an ugly black one on instead of a chrome one. I would ask the owner's in the future if they wanted the factory black or the "PRETTY" chrome one....LOL.... Thank you to the whole staff from Charlie Trader to the service dept. Thank you again,

Went into Daytona Harley-Davidson to get my boyfriend's bike fixed. It's never broken down (until now). We were getting ready to leave for a bike trip Monday morning and it was Saturday afternoon. Jacob Snyder, Service Advisor, was SO helpful and detail-oriented that I just had to comment. He didn't have the part, but sent someone to the other dealership, also checked for any safety recalls and while waiting on the part, had that done as well. He also repaired two small lights in the gauges that were out. He kept coming back to us with status report and then washed the bike! Overall experience was wonderful and Jacob made it better! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff of the service department at the New Smyrna Beach location. While enjoying Bike Week 2014, I had the misfortune of experiencing a mechanical breakdown with my 05 Heritage Softail. While entering an on-ramp to I-95, I accelerated and shifted hard into second gear and was met with an immediate increase in rpms and a loss of forward motion. All attempts to accelerate above 40 miles per hour resulted in increased rpms and loss of power to the rear wheel. I managed to limp on back to our campsite and parked the bike for the night. Deciding the New Smyrna location was more likely to be able to accommodate me, I called at 8:00 a.m. the following morning inquiring whether or not they could get me in and out in one day. A worn clutch was the suspected culprit. Service Advisor Greg Fields assured me it would be no problem. I arrived at approximately 10:00 a.m. via tow truck and off loaded the bike and was immediately attended to by the service department staff. My phone number was taken and I was advised they would call when they had further information. I took advantage of the situation by visiting the many vendors on site for Bike Week, as well as activities at HTs Pub 44, adjacent to the dealership. The problem with the bike was not quite as simple as originally imagined. The splines on my clutch hub had fatigued and stripped out when I hit second gear allowing the drive shaft to free wheel when the clutch was released. A number of factors contributed to the failure; one of which I am sure is the fact that I ride the bike daily and was approaching 82,000 miles on the odometer. During the course of the repair I was kept informed of the progress by my Mechanic, Ben Denosky, Service Advisor, Greg Fields, Assistant Service Manger, Jeremy Sikes, and Service Manager, James Hawtree. I was back on the road by mid afternoon and free to continue my Bike Week experience. These gentlemen are a credit to your organization and I am pleased to make that statement. My only regret is that I dont live close enough to this location to use them on a regular basis. Once again, thanks for treating me like an old friend. I look forward to dropping in the next time I am in the area. Don DeRyke

I visited your dealership on Friday, March 8th while down for Bike Week and was impressed. That evening I discovered I had lost a fob and key to my '12 Ultra Classic. The next morning I returned to the dealership and talked to the guys in service, they sent me to parts to get a fob and then hooked me up with a guy to program it. Just before Bike Week I had my bike serviced and new rear tire installed at a dealership in Ohio. After arriving in Daytona I went for a ride and the rear wheel came loose and the belt was slipping. I called your service department they took the bike right in, fixed the problem in record time, and I was back on the road in about an hour. Thanks for the quick turnaround!

I trailered my HD CVO Ultra to Daytona for bike week and as I drove down from Toronto Canada the weld on my crash bar broke. Given that it was bike week, I was pleasantly surprised when I was told your service department could work on my bike in right away and also do my needed oil change at the same time. I came back in to inquire about an issue I was having with my Navigation Interface Module. Dennis and the factory HD rep confirmed that there was an issue with the first generation NIM modules and replaced it at no cost to me under warranty. Dennis made arrangements to have my bike brought in to service right away to have the part replaced. Both times my bike was in for service, it came out washed and shined up! The service provided by you and your team is second to none!!! Thank you to the entire team at Bruce Rossmeyer's H-D.

I would like management to know that the service department at Destination Daytona, and especially Dennis De Costa, are an excellent group of people to deal with. During your busiest time of year last weekend I noticed my brake light was not working, I checked the bulb and decided to bring it in on Bike week of all weeks. When I approached the service writer it dawned on me that it could be a fuse. I asked the service writer if it would be ok for me to check the fuse and if that was my problem get a new one and be on my way. He allowed me to pull my bike to the side inside the service center write up area and commence taking the bike apart. Once I concluded the fuse was not burned out I noticed the brake relay solenoid. Surely I thought this was the problem, and as I was about to ask if this could be tested when Dennis came up and asked if he could help. I told him the problem and he quickly verified that the solenoid was not the problem and noticed that the brake lever on the handle bar was not properly installed. He made the adjustment and also pointed out that my running light on the brake light was not working. I bought a new bulb and Dennis helped me with the cable. Again all this was done at no expense to me other than the bulb! Everybody says that HD stands for High Dollar, but I know that it really means quality and when you can get a service department to look at a small problem on a busy Bike Week weekend - and that is why I would always bring my bikes to Bruce Rossmeyer's Shop for any service - especially major repairs. Thursday at Bike Week 2013 my 2008 HD Ultra Classic had a problem - a hole developed in my rear brake line from rubbing on the frame. Although no one in FL had the part in stock, Adam was able to work with a Factory Rep on site and get the part by Saturday noon. Adam also noticed a gasket weeping on the inner primary case. During the repair process for the inner primary case gasket, teeth were discovered missing from the clutch cluster and a new one was installed. I was informed the throttle positioning sensor was sending error codes so it was replaced, and the rear wheel rubber bushings were worn and in need of replacing. After picking up the bike everything seemed fine at first. Then I kept experiencing problems with the idle when the engine was warm. It idled between 16 & 20 on the tach consistently. I returned to service and Adam calmly handled the situation but the mechanic, Scott, said everything was within factory specs and no code was being sent. I took to bike but returned again with the same issue 10 minutes before closing time. At this time the bike was idling at 12 consistently & Scott looked at it briefly but said it was within specs. I took the bike again and called Adam to make an appointment the following day for the same problem. Upon arrival I asked Adam to come outside and look at the bike because it was idling at 16 to 18 on the tach. Adam came out and verified I was correct and took the bike in for diagnosis. In the end Adam said they had to replace the throttle positioning sensor again. I want to thank Adam for his assistance and willingness to listen without being rude & short like the first service writer. Adam is representing your organization with concern for the customer even in the heat of a busy, busy, busy week. Adam is a credit to your organization.

Dear Shelly, Just wanted to take a minute and give you some positive feedback. I am not sure how many people actually take the time to give you and your dealership in Ormond praise. I have been buying bikes from the Rossmeyer family for the last 12 years. I just bought my fourth one, which was a 13 Road Glide tricked out. Over the last year or so I have seen your employees go above and beyond whether it was in sales, service, parts and even clothing apparel. I have referred numerous customers to your dealership for new or used bikes and everybody has been very happy. The biggest thing is the service department; those guys will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. A dealership is only as strong as their service department. That is what most people rely on after they purchase a bike. I have to be honest, there was a time when that was not the case. I ride with some really hardcore bikers that are very finicky about their bikes and who works on them. You walk in to your dealership and there are no attitudes and everybody there is willing to help. Keep up the good work! I am bringing another customer to you over the weekend from Virginia who wants to buy a bike from you after speaking with me. Best regards.
